[FR]. "L'Escale" est un bar-restaurant Parisien. Ma cliente a souhaité mettre en valeur son identité visuelle en passant par la refonte de son logo avec une illustration de son visage. Son ancien logo avait été conçu à partir d'une police de caractères de mauvaise qualité et sans personnalité. J'ai pris la décision de faire mon propre lettrage à la façon des écritures ornées pour symboliser la tradition et l'élégance. Concernant l'illustration, j'ai dessiné le visage de ma cliente à partir de sa photo de profil.
Très attaché à l'histoire de France, elle m'a demandé de reprendre un élément graphique de "La Marianne" qui est un personnage emblématique de la république Française.
[EN]. "L'Escale" is a Parisian bar-restaurant. My client wished to highlight her visual identity by redesigning her logo with an illustration of her face. Her old logo had been designed using a typeface of poor quality and without personality. I decided to do my own lettering in the style of ornate scriptures to symbolize tradition and elegance. For the illustration, I drew the face of my client from his profile picture.
